A meaningful volunteer experience

BFF volunteers work on a variety of tasks, which may include contour measuring and definition, bed planning, irrigation setup, and transplanting seedlings like Cristina is here.

BFF volunteers work on a variety of tasks. On any given day, it may include contour measuring and definition, bed and crop planning, irrigation setup, or transplanting seedlings.

There’s no greater satisfaction than feeling the earth in your hands. Volunteering at Bouldin Food Forest helps you connect, or reconnect with the earth, with your work office be outside.

We’re looking for volunteers to work from 9 am until 1 pm, any day Monday through Friday. Tasks vary widely but all are rooted in treating the earth with care so that we produce the highest-quality produce. No experience necessary but certainly welcome.

You should be at least 18 years old. In exchange for your half day of work, you’ll tackle various tasks, have the opportunity to learn, ask lots of questions, and leave with a thank-you bag of produce from the farm.
